Had a laid back weekend with some nice weather. On Friday night, the whole gang watch at least some or all of the DVD of the Avengers that came in the mail that day.

Yesterday, there was not much action, but the boys enjoyed playing outside with their friends. Linker watched college football in the afternoon, one of which was Texas A&M beating Arkansas 58-10.

Today Deb and the boys went to church, while Linker went down to Druid Hill Park for the Falls Road 15K. Linker clocked in around 1:27 and had a really good time running through the park and on the Jones Falls Trail. The boys played outside in the afternoon, while Deb watched football and Linker watched drag racing.

The cool Fall air is slowly making its way here. We had temps in the low 50s in the morning this week. Linker enjoyed a 12-mile traning run yesterday where temperatures were 10 degrees cooler than the previous Saturday with lower humidity.

Yesterday, the whole gang went over to Linker's work for its annual Back to School fair. The boys enjoyed all the exhibits and learning about health-related issues. They also enjoyed a nice lunch in the cafeteria.

Today after church, the boys went to play with on of their friends from school in the afternoon. Linker went shopping for a new pair of running shoes while Deb watched the Ravnes game. Linker was also hoping to watch the NHRA races from Charlotte if the rain stopped there.

Had a pretty good weekend, despite some rain and forecasted bad weather yesterday. the rain held off until the late afternoon, so Linker got in a long run in the morning before taking the boys and himself to the barbershop. After the trip to the barbers, Linker and Seth went down to the B&O Railroad Museum. Seth enjoyed playing in the kids area both inside and outside, along with taking the short train ride from the station and back. Most of the rest of the afternoon was spent around the house as the threat of the storms which actually did put a lot of people out of power in the southern part of Maryland.

Today after church the boys played outside with friends to enjoy much cooler and less humid weather. Linker watched some of the delayed NHRA Nationals from Indy. After lunch, Linker and the boys went over to Jerusalem Mill Village. Ian made a bookmark in the general store while Linker and Seth played with a whirly gig out back of the store. The boys also had fun playing with the older toys in the museum.

Busy Labor Day weekend. Clouds threatened rain all weekend, but didn't affect things too much. On Saturday, Linker and the boys went down to the The Walters Art Museum and did an art project with pipe cleaners as paint brushes. They also enjoyed looking around the museum and seeing the Knight's Hall and looking at the collection of butterflies and other insects.

Yesterday was the 2nd annual Grand Prix of Baltimore. Linker and Ian went down there and enjoyed parts of two races and then all of the feature race. They also had fun riding the Ferris Wheel and Ian had a great time in the moonbounces and climbing up through a series of bungee cords in a tower. Rain only happened for about 10 minutes in the feature race, thankfully. Deb and Seth went to church and then went bowling in the afternoon.

Today, everyone went down to Bass Pro Shops and around the rest of the Arundel Mills Mall. After lunch at Chevys Fresh Mex, the boys got to play games at Dave and Busters. Seth was the big winner of the day, winning 1,000 tickets on the Jackpot game and going home with a stuffed animal like Skipper from Penguins of Madagascar.
